busy week

As a freelancer and general Jill-of-all-trades I really sometimes have to wonder about the wide spectrum of things I get myself into…
Take this week for exampe.

On Monday morning I was in Malmesbury collecting some of my Dad’s awesome recycled toys and by the afternoon I was selling wine and tasting Domaine des Dieux wines at Wine Concepts.

Tuesday I “trained” at Cape Electric Tattoos for the first time, I am excited about spending a few months in shop with these guys and rolling out some innovative marketing ideas and events for them over the summer (and getting free tattoos from awesome artists.)

I am also house hunting and went to view a stunning old house in Tamboerskloof.

This morning I went shopping and sourcing for the kids corner I am managing at Toffie / Spier Secret Festival this weekend. I had so much fun making play dough and putting together lucky packets… There will be lots of excitement for the kids, but in the spirit of the Secret Fest I will keep it a surprise.

Still ahead this week is more houses to view; cookies to bake; artists to consult; learning how to quote for a tattoo; building a maize from cardboard boxes (and first finding 50 empty boxes); more wine and popping enough popcorn to fill a black refuse bag…
never a dull momemt.

there will be pics. soon
